About CELD
Who are we?
The Centre for Excellence for Learning and Development (CELD) is the training section of Community Action Hampshire.
What do we do?
The majority of CELD's courses are accredited and range from a single day to five days in duration. The courses are in many cases nationally or internationally recognised which we aim to make available at the best possible prices.
All of our courses are practically-based and participative to help you gain the skills you need – quickly and in-depth. Back in the workplace, you can apply your new skills and techniques right away, so you and your organisation reap the benefits straight away.
Why do we do it?
We understand the learning and development needs of staff and volunteers in the South East. CELD draws on experience and networks within learning and development, established over the last 6 years within Community Action Hampshire, with projects including LearningNet, the Charities Information Bureau’s funding adviser training programme and the current ESF South East Region Learning and Development for the Third Sector Project.
We are located in attractive Edwardian premises on the outskirts of Winchester city, offering good training facilities, quality trainers, free parking and a relaxing garden.
