CELD Training Terms and Conditions

Full details of our terms and conditions can be dowloaded from the right-hand column, including terms and conditions for the E-Learning Master Classes, which you must print, sign and return to CELD when booking on one of our E-Learning courses.

Course Bookings

Submission of a booking form via fax, post, via CELD’s website or any other means shall be considered to be a request for services. Acceptance of the booking in writing by CELD via hand, post, email or other means shall confirm that a booking exists. Unless CELD has accepted a booking, no booking will be deemed to exist.

Transfer, Cancellation and Postponement

Provided at least four weeks written notice is given before a course starts, a full refund of fees shall be made less any part of the fees due to a third party where they remain payable. A partial refund of fees may be made at CELD’s discretion for periods of notice less than four weeks but greater than two weeks using the following scale:

  • At least three weeks – 50% of fees refunded
  • At least two weeks – 25% of fees refunded
  • Less than two weeks – 0% of fees refunded

Delegate substitutions are acceptable provided there is sufficient time prior to course commencement for any accreditation, assessment or other third party to accept the substitution and that the substitute Delegate meets all course prerequisites.

CELD reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course if there are insufficient bookings to cover the costs of providing the course. In the event that it is necessary for CELD to cancel or reschedule a course, CELD will endeavour to give at least 2 weeks notice. In such circumstances a full refund or alternative dates will be offered.

Course bookings may be transferred to alternative dates and incur no additional costs provided the request is made in writing at least four weeks in advance of course commencement. Once within this time period a sliding scale of charges will apply as follows:

  • At least three weeks – 50% of fees
  • At least two weeks – 75% of fees
  • Less than two weeks – 100% of fee

If a course is run exclusively for a Client, at a CELD site, a Client site, or any other alternative venue, a transfer of course date must be received in writing at least four weeks in advance of course commencement. No transfers are available for such courses within this period.

Price and Payment

The price payable for the Training Services shall be the list price of CELD at the Order date or as otherwise stated. VAT will be charged as required by legislation. Training courses are exempt from VAT. CELD may from time to time provide other services which may be liable to VAT. However, there may be an additional charge for assessments associated with certain qualifications.

Clients with established satisfactory credit arrangements with CELD may, on providing CELD with a purchase order, be invoiced and pay by cheque (made payable to Community Action Hampshire) or any other suitable means within 30 days of the date on the invoice. Other Clients must pay by cheque, bank transfer or via any other payment facility provided by CELD when making a booking.

CELD reserves to right to charge reasonable interest on overdue payments.
